Atlas's Story

Atlas is a very joyful 2 yr old 40 lb sweetheart! Atlas and his sister Athena were relinquished to the Morrow County Shelter when their owner could no longer keep them due to moving. Atlas specializes in goofball, silly smiles, and floppy ears. He gets along with everyone and everything. He is socialized, house trained, and crate trained. Previous owner says he is good with children, cats, and other dogs. As the foster I can confirm he is great with dogs including my 8 lb Chihuahua.
Older children are recommended as he's still exploring with his mouth and can be klutzy with his long legs when playing. He is very interested and engaged in what's going on in the house, and he love, love, loves cuddles and snuggles with his humans. As a young dog, Atlas will benefit from regular exercise to let his long legs run free. And as a smart dog, he will benefit from training and also being placed with an experienced dog home with a family that has at least one other dog looking for an amazing buddy. Atlas will welcome playing and snuggling with a dog friend. This boy can't wait to find his forever home match, he is ready to spring some fun into your pack!

Atlas' adoption fee is $150 fully vetted. Save Ohio Strays does not have a shelter. Our dogs are integrated into their foster homes who can tell you all about them to make the transition into your home informative and supportive.
