Atlas's Story
** If you are interested in Atlas, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ **

There's nothing quite like puppy energy and silliness! Atlas is an extra fluffy, super adorable, 3 month old Golden Retriever mix puppy who currently weighs 19 pounds. We expect that he'll likely be around 50 pounds when fully grown, though that's just our best estimate.

Atlas is looking for a family ready for all the fun, laughter, training, and occasional chaos that comes with a young puppy. Puppies require patience, consistency, socialization, training, and lots of love as they learn about the world around them. In return, you'll get the incredible experience of watching a tiny puppy grow into your best friend.

From Atlas' foster:
"These puppies are so fun! We are working on kennel training, leash training, and house training. They are good with kids people love to play with toys."

We feel that Atlas would do great in a home with someone who works from home, and has the time and energy to train a young puppy. We would feel comfortable with him going to a family with kids 6+ years of age.

Since Atlas is just a puppy, he's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show him the way. We are not willing to adopt to someone who is unable to commit to taking Atlas to puppy socialization classes and training.

Atlas is up to date on his vaccines (though will require one more booster shot), and neutered.

Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.

Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out 400 dogs each year.

If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit.

**PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool we have to determine a great match for this very deserving pup. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.
