Athena's Story

Sweet and friendly 2 year old female Rottweiler. Athena is a sweet girl who was surrendered due to her owner's health. She weighs 77 pounds and is full grown. Rotties are generally giant lap dogs who have no idea that they are as big as they are. She has the breed standard black and tan coat. Athena is up to date on vaccines and has been started on heartworm prevention and flea control. Her adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay and microchip. Athena has tested positive for heartworm disease so please check with your vet about treatment options.

Davie County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Cat adoptions are $100 and include first vaccines, spay or neuter and microchip. Dog adoptions are $180 and include first vaccines, heartworm test for dogs over 5 months, spay or neuter and microchip. We ask that adopters come in and meet pets they are interested in and then have a conversation with one of our adoption staff. Adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay or neuter.
