Female - 6 years - 98 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - PAHello! My name is Astro and I am a 6-year-old, currently 98 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, though I am trustworthy left home alone uncrated as long as there is no food around for me to find!
I do well with men, women, and older children after introductions. I can be a bit skittish at first and will sniff you over to make sure you're okay, then bring you my ball to let you know we're friends! I am a Velcro Dog with my foster mom as I follow her everywhere and seek plenty of affection. I love my turn on the couch for snuggles!
I do well with male dogs after slow, proper introductions and wouldn't mind having a sibling. I love to play with my foster brother now that we know each other! I am also good with my foster mom's cockatiel bird. I love my ball toys and carrying them around (I haven't figured out fetch though). I cannot go to a home with cats.
I like car rides and only pull slightly on leash, I love to investigate all the smells on walks! I already know sit and would love to learn more. I was quite overweight when I arrived at my foster home and am working to lose some weight; I have already lost several pounds though I have more to go so I need a family willing to continue helping me towards an ideal weight. I am a sweet, intelligent, happy girl who is ready to find my adoptive home-could it be yours?

Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $300. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
