Asta

Asta, his siblings and mother were rescued by Soft Paws after being dumped by their previous owner when they moved. <br/><br/>Asta is roughly 8 weeks old and we believe his is a Doxie/Sheltie mix (but as with all rescues, it's a best guess). Asta is goofy, dopey and floppy. He's often mellow, calm and loves to sleep in cozy spots on his back with his legs in the air. When he gets feisty, he responds well to corrections, but his is mostly easy going and likes to relax.<br/><br/>Asta would do well in any calm family home. He's great with children, other dogs (of all sizes) and cats. He loves food and is food motivated. He enjoys chewy bones and squeaky toys, but his favorite thing to do is cuddling up with his person.<br/><br/>Asta is fostered in Sonoma County, CA and will be available to adopt from Santa Rosa 95403 at a pre-approved, scheduled appointment.
