Aspen's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Aspen! He is a male Great Pyrenees puppy, nearly 3 months old and weighs about 25lbs. We expect him to be around 80+ fully grown. He is goofy, playful, and affectionate.

Aspen is very sweet and loving. He likes to follow you around the house. When you're sitting, he likes to put his paws in your lap and give out kisses. He will even lick at the air to give you kisses from far away.

He is cautious when new people quickly reaching out to pet him, he will run and hide under the coffee table if they start following him. Since he is a puppy, proper socialization with new people, dogs and experiences would be very helpful to help him become a confident dog. He has not been children yet but parents should be aware he is a teething puppy and will grow up to be very large.

Aspen enjoys playing with his puppy siblings and is curious about new dogs, but will soon end up following them around trying to give kisses. When excited he will chomp his teeth. He loves toys and ripping them apart. He has bursts of energy usually followed by a long nap.

He is still learning to be gentle with the cats in his foster home, he will rush and chase them.

Aspen is mostly house trained, only has 1-2 accidents inside each week. He isn't a big fan of his crate and will let you know by howling, but he will settle down after about 10 minutes. He has been on a few walks and does well but will pull if he doesn't want to go the same way as you.

He is a very sweet pup! And will be such a fun loving addition to any home.

Aspen is currently in a foster home in DFW area of Texas. We do adopt out of state, however adopters must arrange their own transport as we do not provide any. Aspen must go to a home with another dog to play and teach manners. His adoption fee is $300.
