Ashley's Story

Ashley is available for adoption and has been at the shelter since May. Since coming to the shelter as a stray we are guessing her age is around 2 years. She is a very friendly and loyal girl with plenty of energy to go around! She is very food motivated to help with training, she is getting the hang of sit. She has not been tested with cats but appears friendly with dogs that she meets at the fence. She is very strong on a leash and would benefit from a harness and leash training. Potential adopters first come into the shelter for an in-person meet and greet with the animals that they are interested in. Adopters are required to fill out a 2 page application. This completed application is reviewed by shelter staff and a reference check is done using the adopter's previous/current Veterinarian or landlord if applicable.
