Our dogs get extensive lab tests, spay or neuter, vaccines and dentals and other treatments as needed, and are on heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Artie was adopted from a shelter by a very sweet lady who is horribly allergic to him. This is a hard thing for her to do. She loves him and he loves her, but she has tried everything and each time she touches him she has a reaction. As much as she hates it, she needs to find him a new home.<br/><br/>Artie is about 12 pounds and 6 yrs old. He is sweet and playful. He would be best in a quiet home, with someone home most of the time; and if there is a man in the home, he may need to help Artie learn that men are not going to hurt him. He is super affectionate, and I think he could easily learn that. We would not recommend a home with small children.<br/><br/>Artie is neutered and on HW prevention. He has been very well cared for in his new home.
