While in our care, we've noticed that Arthur appears to be at least partially, if not completely, hearing impaired and may also have some vision impairment. Because of this, he's looking for an experienced adopter who understands the unique needs of deaf dogs and is committed to helping him build confidence through routine, visual communication, and positive reinforcement. Arthur learns differently than a typical puppy and will need a home that can provide a predictable, non-startling environment where he can safely navigate the world, continue learning at his own pace, and embrace his puppyhood. With patience and consistency, Arthur has the potential to become an incredible lifelong companion.
