ARTHUR's Story

This handsome fella is Arthur, a 3 year old Husky with a heart of gold. Arthur’s a pretty shy guy, as he was not regularly meeting strangers or other dogs in his previous home. He can be worried and uncertain of the world around him, but with patience and a gentle approach to training, he is learning that the world is not so scary. Arthur is looking for an adopter who can help him continue to grow and learn in a calm, low-traffic environment, meaning not a lot of activity or people coming and going. He will need someone who's ready to teach him all the basics, such as housebreaking, walking on a leash, and general manners, using positive reinforcement training (Arthur loves snacks and is very smart, so he's a great training buddy!). Arthur would prefer to be the only pet in the home right now, but he may be able to have some well-matched dog friends once he’s adjusted to his new home and new routine.
