ARTEMIS (Artie)'s Story

Artemis is a special needs girl. She is so vivacious and fun and loving that we hope we can still find her a forever home.
Artie was born with an almost not existent ( 3mm) urethra. She had tests and a scope of her ureters and female areas. This is a genetic condition and there is nothing that can be done to fix it. Consequentially Artie leaks urine on a regular basis.
We try not to diaper her to prevent urinary tract infections, but diapers are doable. We have all tile and we just clean a lot ! The good part is already loves to be outside and play, especially in the cooler months. Since she spends a lot of time outside playing that makes it a little bit easier also. She also a longer coat so a privacy shave/trim of her withers helps too.
We know that it’s gonna take a very special person to get Artie adopted with her medical issues, but we will not stop trying because she deserves so much more than we can give her here with all of our other dogs.
If you are seriously interested in Artie please inquire and we will be happy to speak to you further and answer any additional questions

Luna Siberian Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process... The adoption process: An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Luna Siberian Rescue will deliver the dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties. Adoption fees are 300.00- 400.00 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. up to date vaccinations and deworming. Adoption prices for puppies does not include spay/neuter if they are under 6 months of age. An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption. Come Meet Our Pets.
