Arlo bonded with Easton's Story
DOB of Pet 4/16/2026

Easton and Arlo came from a home where there were 100 dogs. The owner passed away, and the next of kin demanded the dogs be removed the next day. A few rescues went in and were able to help all of the dogs on the property before it was bulldozed down. Easton and Arlo are 9 months old, and estimated to be dachshund/chihuahua mixes. We believe they are a bonded pair, with Easton being the more confident one, and Arlo the more insecure one. Easton would be fine without Arlo, but Arlo would not be ok without Easton. They have gone through a tremendous amount of change since March. Their owner passing away, losing their home and everything they know, saying goodbye to their 98 other fur siblings, moving from one shelter to another, and finally into a foster home. They have been very scared, and slow to warm up. They were even so scared in their foster home they continued to shake in fear the first few days. After a few days, Easton began to give tail wags. A couple weeks and Arlo’s tail began to relax. They are smart, and terrific little car riders! They are good with dogs, cats, kids, and even goats!😂❤️ Arlo is a shameless little dumpster diver, Easton protects his food especially from Arlo, so it’s safe to say they are very food motivated! Not surprising, as it would be highly suspected that attempting to feed 100 dogs where they came from left them short on getting enough food. These two baby boys are looking for a forever home where they can stay together. They will continue to grow and blossom, and reach their fullest potential. They just need one person to say yes to both of them.

Adoption fee includes:
Age-appropriate vaccinations
Spay/Neuter
Microchip
Heartworm/flea/tick prevention
Deworming treatments

Our animals are kept at our shelter and in foster homes.
