This sweet boy was rescued off the end of a chain.
Hi, my name is Argo. His name is deeply rooted in Greek mythology, which suits him perfectly since this boy is certainly an old soul in a young man’s body. I am a big boy but don’t tell me that since I think I am on the smaller side and just want to sit on your lap! My favorite thing to do in the entire world is to snuggle right up to you. I love everyone I meet, even the people who are on the short side that they tell me are called kids. I do like some dogs, but I can be picky about which ones I choose to like. Since all I want to do is please my humans (treats are always acceptable), I am easily trained.



I will never say no to a game of tug of war, fetch, walks or scratching my back on the sofa, in the grass, on the floor…you name it.


?????????Meet Argo, probably one of the most deserving babies. He spent the first 3 years of his life living in the conditions in picture #1. His food was thrown on the ground, which is where he would go to the bathroom. He is THRIVING now! The male dog at his foster’s home is not a fan, and we need a new foster or adopter for him ASAP!

?Argo is a 3 year old, 75lb brindle pit mix that is crate and potty trained, as well as neutered and UTD on all shots! He loves people, but is particular on other dogs. He was surrendered with a female pit from his prior home(lived together 1 year), and loves her, but doesn’t do well with dominant male dogs(foster’s dog). Foster mama has chickens and he pays them no attention, would more than likely do well with cats and smaller animals, but we can always do cat testing to confirm if needed!

?His foster mama says he is loving, loyal, submissive to people, no manners when it comes to kisses or love, but is an absolute sweetheart and deserves to find his family. Ask me ANY questions, more than happy to help and/or connect you with foster!
