Archie's Story

Meet Archie - for the third time! Archie is a 3 year old neutered Brittany Spaniel/Jack Russel terrier mix. He's active, goofy, and oh-so-sweet!
Poor Archie just can't catch a break. This boy was first surrendered to us nearly 2 years ago alongside his brother. After a long wait, he was finally adopted. Sadly, that home didn't work out and he ended up dumped in the countryside. He made his way to a vet clinic, where we saw him online and knew we had to go get our boy back.
Archie is the type of guy that loves a good time. He is very high energy, and will need an active owner to keep him entertained. He does know how to calm down, though, and will gladly snuggle with you at the end of the day. Archie is also going to absolutely need a securely fenced-in yard. His original owner said he would wriggle through fences, and his most recent adopter said he learned how to climb them now. For his safety he cannot be allowed to roam, which is why we have this requirement.
Archie has lived with other dogs previously and got along great with them. With his high energy, he can be overwhelming to some, so we recommend a meet and greet to make sure it is a good fit. He also loves children. We do know, though, that Archie is not good with cats, and he will not be adopted out to a home with any.
Archie is such a sweet boy and we just don't understand why it's taken so long to find a forever home. Don't make Archie wait any longer - come out and meet him today!
