But it’s his eyes that really get you — the kind that look at you like you hung the stars in the sky.<br/><br/>Archie came to us as an owner surrender from Louisiana, and while we don’t know much about his previous home, some of his early mannerisms suggest he may not have always been treated the way he deserved. The good news? Archie doesn’t hold onto the past. Give him a moment — sometimes a little longer for men than women — to sniff, settle in, and realize he’s safe, and you’ll quickly discover you’ve made a best friend for life.<br/><br/>And once he warms up… get ready.
