🚨 FOSTER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY. 🚨<br/><br/>Archer was code red in a full shelter, and they reached out to Helpless Hounds to help. We couldn't let him die, so we got him out today 5/7/26 but he is desperate for a foster and a place to rest while we begin his Heartworm treatment. <br/><br/><br/>Name: Archer<br/>Sex: Male (intact)<br/>Age: ~2 years<br/>Weight: ~70 lbs<br/>Breed: Coonhound<br/>Intake type: Shelter/Rescue transfer<br/><br/>Vetting: Heartworm positive and ehrlichia positive. All vetting will be completed by the rescue.<br/><br/>Social: Dogs - no aggression observed, Cats - unknown, Kids - unknown<br/><br/>Notes: Picked up as a stray and described as very sweet and friendly with people. Training and housebreaking unknown.<br/><br/>No behavioral concerns noted aside from typical hound vocalizing.
