Archer's Story

Meet your new shadow and best friend 💛

This sweet boy is as loving as they come. He’s incredibly affectionate and forms strong bonds with his people—if you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side, he’s your guy. He absolutely adores humans and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and personalities.

Once he feels comfortable in his environment, his playful side really comes out! He enjoys toys, playing with other dogs, and just being part of the fun. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be included in whatever you’re doing.

He does prefer not to be left alone for long periods, so he’d do best in a home where someone is around often. The good news? He’s a great travel buddy and easy to take along on adventures.

He’s a smart pup who already knows basic commands like “stay” and “no,” and he’s currently working on “come” and “sit.” He’s eager to please and learns quickly with a little consistency and love.

Fun fact: he’s not a fan of rain (who can blame him?), but he has excellent bladder control and can hold it for long stretches when needed.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and slightly clingy (in the best way) companion, he’s ready to fill your home with love 💕

Archer came from a hoarding case of 50+ dogs, he was severely matted when he entered our care and has come so far!

Adoption process can be found at rescueatxdogs.org/adopt.
Inquire for Echo at rescueatxdogs.org/adoptionapp
