Arc's Story
Arc is ready for his new forever home.

While his name is Arc his foster mom calls him Arc Angel because everyone needs a little Angel in their life.

Arc is a very sweet 10-year-old sheltie X. He has done well in his foster home with other dogs. He LOVES daily walks and can walk with a pack of 3 others easily. He really likes going to the private parks where he can walk off leash and explore at his own pace. Arc can be dog reactive in certain situations outside his safe places so going to pet friendly stores are not in his best interest.

He sometimes sleeps on the bed but if there is a crate in the room, he might choose that instead.

Arc is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date with his vaccines. He has a heart murmur so to be safe we had an echocardiogram done. We were happy to hear that while he has very early degenerative valve disease, it is trivial and considered innocent. No medications are required and he is completely asymptomatic.

Arc at a glance:

10 year old, neutered, microchipped sheltie X
Reliable housetrained
Sweet, affectionate and LOVES back rubs
Would do best in a home where someone is at home most of the time
Was around children but we think he would be better in a home with no children under 12
As per the cardiologist, it is important Arc is on a grain-containing diet.

Arc is fostered in the Edmonton area. His adoption fee will be $250.00.

Please note: Only families whose applications match Arc’s needs and criteria will be contacted and we only facilitate adoptions within Alberta. If you believe you may be the right fit for Arc we encourage you to submit an application.

We are happy to send out our online application form if you have a gmail account.
