April O'Neil's Story

For a while, everyone kept asking about her.

Remember the Ninja Turtle litter? Nine wild little puppies named after Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and every single time we posted about them, someone would say, "Okay but where’s April?"

Well. Here she is.

April O'Neil is the mom behind that whole crew, and just like with her litter, she didn't end up here because someone gave up on her in a bad way- her person chose to do the right thing to make sure she got what she actually needs: time, attention, and her best chance at her perfect family.

She's a sweet, social, easygoing girl who loves people, loves kids, and genuinely seems happiest just being part of a home. She gets along with everyone and has that classic Basset personality- a little silly, a little dramatic, very affectionate, vocal, and fully convinced she belongs wherever the people are.

After raising a whole litter of heroes (and villains), April's done her job. It's her turn to be the baby.
