April's Story

April is an oversized lap dog with a heart of gold. Her barks are soft and high pitched like an innocent puppy if she wants attention, or low and rumbling if she's scared! We haven't noticed any aggression here at the shelter from her towards the other dogs. She is clearly a big muscular girl, but she doesn't try to use that to her advantage. She doesn't pull hard on the leash and enjoys time in the yard just running off her energy.

Williams County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Adoption applications can be filled out in person or online at www.williamscountyhumanesociety.com and can take up to 48 hours to process. Dogs/puppies are $245 and Cats/kittens are $75 or 2 for $120. Adoption fee includes heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test(cats), flea treatment, deworming, all shots up to the date of adoption and in the event the animal has not been spayed/neutered, this is also included in the cost.
