Apollo's Story

Meet Apollo!

Apollo is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart. This gentle, sweet-natured boy has a heart of gold and is looking for someone who will help him discover just how wonderful life can be.

The world can feel a little overwhelming for Apollo at times. New places, unfamiliar sounds, and big changes can make him nervous, so he's looking for a calm, patient home that will let him settle in at his own pace. While he may be shy at first, every small step forward is a huge victory, and watching Apollo gain confidence is incredibly rewarding.

Apollo has enjoyed the company of other dogs while being here at the shelter (he seems to mesh better with female dogs!) and would do well with a chill companion to help his confidence blossom!

Once Apollo knows he's safe, his sweet personality begins to shine. He'll gently lean in for affection, happily accept soft pets, and look at you with the kind of trusting eyes that make every bit of patience worthwhile. He's the type of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds and will be a loyal companion for life.

Apollo isn't looking for perfection. He's simply looking for someone who believes in him, celebrates the little victories, and understands that the best relationships are built on trust. If you have a gentle heart, a quiet home, and room for a shy dog to blossom, Apollo is ready to show you just how much love he has to give.

Come meet Apollo today and see why this sensitive soul is so easy to fall in love with.

Cheyenne Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
As Wyoming’s largest animal adoption agency, CAS has the widest selections of cats and dogs, rabbits, small mammals and more in Wyoming. Visit our shelter today, or visit Adoptable Cats, Adoptable Dogs or Working Cats to view pictures and profiles of all pets in need of homes! Visit our website to see available animals or visit the adoptable animals at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. We have three large dog adoption rooms, “cat alley” and critter space. While visiting the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, a CAS adoption counselor will help you find the pet who is the best match for your family and lifestyle. Once you find your match, a Cheyenne Animal Shelter staff person will begin the adoption process, which often takes as little as an hour. Once you have reviewed all adoption paperwork, you’ll pay the adoption fee. Then, you’re ready to take home your new furry family member.
