Apollo's Story

Apollo is approximately 1.5 years, around 85 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated Great Dane/Visla mix breed. He is crate trained and good with potty & leash training~ soon he will be a pro of all three!!

He is affectionate, but can be a bit nervous when first met with unexpected changes. Apollo gets along well with most dogs (but we suggest he be paired with a female companion), adults and older children alike. Given his adaptability, he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!!

Apollo was discovered in the Tecate neighborhoods. When found He was skinny and suffered from ehrlichiosis and anaplasmosis. Fortunately, he is now healthy & flourishing under the loving care of a foster. (June 2025)

Apollo has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him patience, affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!
