Meet Anzo! <br/><br/>Hi, I'm Anzo! I'm an almost 11-month-old Cane Corso mix, weighing about 80lbs looking for my forever family.<br/><br/>I came to Mississauga Animal Services after my previous owner could no longer keep me. Since being here, I've been learning that the world isn't as scary as I once thought. New sounds and new people can still make me a little nervous, but every day I'm getting a little braver with the help of my shelter friends and training.<br/><br/>Sometimes when I get really spooked, I might have a little bathroom accident—but I'm trying my best! What really helps me feel safe? Gentle comfort rubs from my favourite people, playing with my stuffies, and having someone who understands that I just need a little patience.<br/><br/>When it's time to unwind, you'll usually find me soaking up the sunshine outside or curled up on my favourite soft blanket for a cozy nap.<br/><br/>I'm looking for a family who will continue helping me build my confidence through positive training, socialization, and lots of encouragement. With a little time and love, I know I'll grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be!<br/><br/>I've done really well meeting other dogs here at the shelter. I can be a bit enthusiastic around female dogs right now because I'm not neutered yet, but that will be taken care of when I'm old enough. I'll be going home with a neuter certificate, and I'm already fully vaccinated (rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella), microchipped, and dewormed.<br/><br/>I haven't met any cats or kids but kids 10+ recommended.<br/><br/>Think we might be the perfect match?
