Antoinette Boxer & Border Collie Mix Scranton, PA

Antoinette is a very sweet Boxer/Border Collie mix of sorts who was recently rescued from a high kill shelter. She was surrendered with another female dog, of approximately the same age, when the owner was no longer able to care for them. She weighs about 50 lbs. and is said to be three years old. Antoinette has adjusted very well after spending two months at the shelter. She loves people and gets along fabulously well with other dogs. Even when another older dog "snarfed" at her when he didn't want to play with her, she did not retaliate at all. She just looked confused as if to say... "Oh, no... what did I do wrong?". She looked to her handler for guidance. We saw a GREAT dog there and immediately offered rescue for Antoinette. We are unsure as to how she would be in a home with cats at this time. But, caution should always be taken when introducing any new dog to a home with cats. Antoinette has already been spayed and micro-chipped. She is now up-to-date with vaccinations and she recently tested negative for heart-worm disease. Antoinette will be available on Nov. 22nd for adoption or foster and we are taking applications for her at this time. Beautiful Antoinette was adopted by her Foster-to-Adopt mom today. She is now called "Annie" and she will be spending the "Happily-ever-After" part of her life in West Scranton, PA!!
