Anthony's Story

Meet Anthony

Anthony is a quiet, gentle soul with a calm and steady presence. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t ask for much but quickly becomes a comforting companion to have by your side.

He has been wonderful with the people he’s met, approaching with a soft and respectful nature. While he hasn’t had the opportunity to meet children yet, his gentle temperament suggests he could do well with calm, respectful interactions.

Anthony is currently recovering from medical procedures, so his exposure to the outside world has been limited—but even so, he has shown a relaxed and non-reactive personality. He has been respectful around other dogs and shows little interest in birds or squirrels.

In the home, Anthony is clean and well-mannered. He is house-trained, settles nicely in his crate, and does well when left alone. He can be a little stubborn at times, occasionally “planting” himself when he disagrees, but with patience (and a good treat), he comes around.

Anthony loves being outdoors and would do best in a home with a secure yard where he can relax and explore. Leash walking is still a work in progress, and he currently prefers quieter, open spaces. He is also nervous in the car and will need slow, positive exposure to build confidence.

Anthony would thrive in a calm home that appreciates a low-key, easygoing companion. With a bit of patience and understanding, he will become a steady and loyal presence in his forever home.

Anthony was born approximately September 2017 and is a medium-sized dog.

His adoption fee is $225.
