Annie's Story

Annie is a gentle, affectionate senior girl who's ready to leave her past behind and finally enjoy the comfort of a loving home. after being rescued, she was brought to the shelter, where the environment felt a bit chaotic for her, so she transitioned into a foster home to decompress and settle in. She can still get a little anxious with lots of activity but does best with a calm routine. Annie finds Comfort in her cozy crate filled with blankets, along with some background noise to help her relax. At her core, she is incredibly sweet, she loves belly rubs, treats, and spending her days lounging near her people. Annie would thrive in a quieter home where she can enjoy leisurely walks and plenty of cuddle time on the couch. She can be selective with her dog friends, so a dog meet is required to ensure the right fit, but she has shown she can coexist respectfully with companions. Due to her age and past, she may benefit from a consistent potty schedule, though she can comfortably hold it for a few hours. Annie could be a wonderful match for a retired couple or anyone looking for a laid-back, loving "golden girl" to share their days with. After everything she's been through, Annie is truly deserving of a soft place to land and a family to call her own, reach out to meet Annie and give this sweet girl the happy ending she's been waiting for.
