Annie's Story

Annie is a sweet senior girl who deserves so much! After a hard past, she is finally ready to be someone's beloved dog and sadly has been waiting over a year! Annie is affectionate, gentle, and happiest around people soaking up praise, love, and attention. She loves walks, rolling over for belly rubs, and smiling. Annie has quickly become a volunteer favorite, often going out on more than three walks a day because everyone loves spending time with her. She is definitely not complaining about all of the attention and is loving shelter life since being back, though we know she'd love a furever home even more.

Annie is crate trained, knows "in" as her cue, and even completed a board-and-train where she learned to feel more comfortable relaxing away from her people. She did fantastic! While there, we learned she does well with cats and may tolerate a calm, respectful dog. She even went on a sleepover recently where they reported she is an absolute cuddle bug and would 10/10 recommend adopting her! What Annie needs most is a comfy couch and someone willing to love her the way she has always deserved. Please come adopt this girly!
