I didn’t even look that bad for being out on my own, so when I came to the shelter I so hoped my person would come and collect me, but no one did. I was all alone at a noisy shelter, and finally I was rescued. I’m an active little girl, that is still learning to trust. I get along with everyone at rescue. I’m working on my potting. I very well could have lived outside so I’m learning. I am so good at wanting to learn, especially when I get a treat! I know I’m a good girl and soon you’ll know it too!

Act2Pups Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy

It is always best to make sure your pet(s) get along with the Act2Pups pet that you are interested in. This can be done at an adoption event, or an appointment can be arranged. We ask that all family members visit at the same time if possible. To start the adoption process a completed application is needed. (We currently do not have our application on line, but hope to soon). We will e-mail a copy of the application. Once the application is processed and approved a home visit is performed. This is done more to make sure any concerns pertinent to the dog you are interested in can be addressed. Most small senior dogs don't require a large, fenced yard. A trial adoption can begin with the home visit. Should the trial begin at the home visit, Act2Pups provides everything the dog requires. The trial usually lasts no more than a week. Any time during the trial the applicant can choose to adopt. All of our senior pups are in foster homes. Contact: act2pups@yahoo.com for additional information on any of our pups. Our Mission

In many cases Act2Pups have been in a home and grateful to have the opportunity to love and be loved again. Small (under 12lbs) senior pups are a good first dog for someone that has never had a pet.
