Anise was found as a stray and brought to the Associated Humane Society of Newark. She struggled in the shelter environment, clearly having lived in a home. Despite the stress, she bonded to the staff of the shelter and welcomed love and attention. She is estimated to be about 7ish years old and is 16 pounds. She is active and exciteable!<br/><br/>Anise walks very excitedly on the leash, and wants to meet most people who pass her by. She loves to cuddle with you, and like a typical terrier likes to dig and snuffle in your lap or on the couch. She could go home with a compatible pup. But no kitties, birds, or small mammals for this little lady. She absolutely loves to chase birds and watch them do their bird things. She would love to walk with you, or even run if you're up for it! She is completely housebroken and doesn't mind her crate. Anise has an adorable underbite! She is a little Napoleon and likes to protect the house and her foster family.<br/><br/>Anise is a silly lil girl looking for a second chance at life with a family who will cherish her and understand her terrier-ness!
