****We are Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S) -Stephenville, TX - We are a small, foster based animal rescue, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based out of Stephenville, TX. We work to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in Stephenville and surrounding towns. We have recently expanded our scope to include Hamilton County, TX and are currently working with the City of Hamilton and the Hico Police Department to find loving foster and permanent homes for dogs that have been abandoned and have ended up in the Hamilton Pound or the Hico Animal Shelter. <br/><br/> Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.)'s mission is to sponsor low cost spay/neuter and wellness exams, provide community education and provide food and supplies to those in need. We also do our best to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. Our animals are vaccinated and on preventatives. Need a daily reminder to work less and play more? Angus is ready to report for duty!<br/><br/>**His Story -<br/>Poor Angus was found wandering along a local creek with another dog. They were safely picked up and brought to the Hico Animal Shelter. Since then, Angus has been fully vetted, loved on, and is now ready to find his ultimate forever home.<br/><br/>**Personality & Habits-<br/>The Ultimate Puppy: At just 6 months old, Angus is already a whopping 60+ lbs! He has a lot of growing left to do, but for now, hes just a big, goofy toddler in a giant body.<br/><br/>Leash Skills (In Progress): He is actively learning to walk on a leash, though he currently thinks the leash is a fun chew toy. Expect some lovable chaos on your walks while he finishes his training!<br/><br/>Chewing & Play: Because hes still a baby, he loves to explore the world with his mouth. He is eager to play with other dogs, but due to his size and enthusiasm, he hasnt quite figured out his own strength yet.<br/><br/>Cats & Kids: He is definitely too much energy for feline friends. Because of his size and bouncy puppy nature, he would do best in an active household with older children.<br/><br/>House Training & Travel: Angus is already doggie-door trained, though he may need a little patience to ensure hes 100% housebroken in a new environment. He loves going for rides in the truck, but he will require a proper harness or crate restraint, otherwise, he acts as the ultimate co-pilot disruptor!<br/><br/>**Health & Medical -<br/>Angus is healthy, happy, and fully prepared to head home:<br/><br/>Neutered male<br/><br/>Up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines (including Rabies and Bordetella)<br/><br/>Heartworm negative<br/><br/>Microchipped<br/><br/>Current on flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite preventatives<br/><br/>**Adoption Info -<br/>Angus is waiting for an active family with a well-fenced yard and plenty of time for playtime, training, and fun adventures.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $400<br/><br/>Out-of-State Transport Fee: $300 (We only use trusted, reputable transport partners to deliver our dogs safely to families outside of Texas.)<br/><br/>Ready to open your heart to this big, goofy boy?<br/><br/>Email us at h4mpounddogs@gmail.com to learn more about Angus today!
