Found wandering near a local creek, this sweet guy was brought to the Hico Animal Shelter, spent time in a foster home learning his manners, and is now ready for his true forever family.<br/><br/>Meet Angus: Your Future Gentle (and Hugely Goofy) Giant!<br/><br/>Location: Hico, Texas<br/><br/>Age: 9 Months<br/><br/>Weight: 75+ lbs. (and still growing!)<br/><br/>Breed: Bullmastiff Mix<br/><br/>Why You’ll Fall in Love with Angus:<br/><br/>Low-Maintenance Grooming & Vibe: He’s low-shedding, low-drool, and a surprisingly quiet guy who rarely barks.<br/><br/>Brave & Adaptable: Thunderstorms and loud noises don't bother him at all. He's flexible with new schedules, isn't a picky eater, and has zero stomach sensitivities!<br/><br/>Easy Hygiene: Bath time and nail trims are a total breeze with him.<br/><br/>Affectionate Companion: He loves pets, enjoys dog-friendly buddies his own size, and happily settles in for couch-potato cuddle time when invited up.<br/><br/>Smart & Trained Skills Already Under His Belt:<br/>Angus is a quick learner who has already mastered some fantastic house manners:<br/><br/>Commands: Knows "Sit" (verbal and palm-up hand signal).<br/><br/>Impulse Control: Waits patiently for his release cue before eating his food or going through open doors.
