ANGUS's Story

Meet Angus — a compact little American Bulldog with a giant heart and an even bigger personality.

At just 1 year old and around 35 pounds, Angus is the perfect “take everywhere” size. Big enough to be your adventure buddy, small enough to fit comfortably into everyday life. And trust us… this boy wants to be part of EVERYTHING.

Angus was found dumped in Rouge Park, thin, beat up, and clearly failed by humans. But somehow, despite everything he’s been through, he is still incredibly sweet and loving. He can be a little unsure when first meeting new people, but give him a few minutes and suddenly you’ve got a loyal shadow and best friend for life.

This boy LOVES outings with volunteers. He rides great in the car, walks beautifully on a leash, and would thrive with an active family that wants a dog included in their adventures. Whether it’s walks, hikes, park trips, or weekend day trips, Angus is always ready to go. But once he’s gotten his fun in? He’s more than happy to curl up on the couch and become a full-time cuddle bug.

Angus is:
• Potty trained
• Great in the house
• Up to date on vaccines
• Neutered
• Microchipped
• Dog friendly

Because he’s young and playful, Angus would do best with a dog his size or larger that can match his fun, energetic play style. A fully fenced yard is required for this active boy.

What Angus needs most now is someone willing to give him the life he should have had all along. After being abandoned and left to fend for himself, he deserves a family that will never let him wonder if he’s loved again.

And honestly? Once you meet him, it’s pretty hard not to fall in love.
