Angelo's Story

Angelo is a 5 month old Husky/Pit mix. He’ll be around 50 lbs full grown. He does well with other dogs. He would do well in a home with dog savvy cats as he thinks they’re fun to play with. Older kids would be best as he has pretty limited manners at the moment. Angelo would thrive in an active dog savvy home. This boy is super smart and super active. If you aren’t working his mind and brain he’ll figure out his own things to do. He is house trained and crate trained.

Friends for Life Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters can visit our website and fill out an adoption application. We then do a vet check and a phone call to them. They come and visit the dog they are interested in at the foster home. There are at least 3 visits with the potential adopters and depending on whether there are other dogs in the household there is more than one visit with said dogs. At least one of the visits is at the potential adopters home so that a home inspection can be done. We encourage walking the dog and play interaction. We talk with potential adopters about training and decompression. We also offer help after adoption with any issues that arise.
