Angela's Story
Angela is a gentle, sensitive girl who is still decompressing and learning that she's finally safe. While she can be timid at first, she already shows a sweet personality and a strong desire to connect with her people.
Because she is still settling in, Angela will need a patient and understanding home willing to give her time, structure, and reassurance as her confidence continues to grow. Every day, she becomes a little more comfortable, curious, and active as she adjusts to life in a home environment.
Angela gets along well with other dogs and has done well with cats. She is potty trained and already knows basic commands like "sit," especially if treats are involved. She is still working on crate training and may cry when left alone, so continued positive reinforcement and consistency will help her feel more secure.
She can also be protective of her personal space, such as her bed, and will need respectful boundaries and continued guidance as she learns to trust fully. Angela may do well in a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to give her space when needed.
During her spay, a very mild heart murmur (grade 2/6) was noted. She is not showing any symptoms, and it is simply something to monitor with routine veterinary care.
Angela is the kind of dog who will blossom beautifully with patience, kindness, and stability. Once she feels safe, we believe she will become an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.

If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application.
