Angel's Story
Inquires submitted via this site tend to get lost, please apply at https://unchainedmelodies.org/adopt/

Angel was kept behind on a rescue transport out-of-state due to illness at 2 weeks old. Her mom and siblings continued on without her, so she was bottle-fed for a few weeks.

Angel recovered and has thrived. She is in a foster home with big dogs and has developed into a confident and sassy little puppy. Her best friend is a very tolerant 70-pound hound who lets her walk all over him. The other dogs in the house will correct her when needed. She hasn't met any cats or small children.

She's potty-trained, except on days when it rains, because nobody likes soggy paws. Her appetite is excellent. Leash training is coming along well. She is begrudgingly crate-trained and will let you know for 5-10 minutes that her imprisonment is unfair, unwanted, and possibly in violation of the Geneva Convention. She sleeps well for about 8 hours each night before she's carried out for her morning pee.

She is still a baby who likes toilet paper, laundry, treats, shoelaces, ankles, people, getting underfoot, naps, and pretty much anything that is or could possibly be a toy.

Angel dislikes being thwarted but will accept distractions. She can do stairs, and she understands dog doors. She will argue with you when you are clearly in the wrong, and even if you're right. She has the mental capacity of a 4 month-old human with four legs and sharp little teeth.

She's adorable, happy, and playful.

apply to meet Angel at https://unchainedmelodies.org/adopt/
