Andy's Story

Hi, I'm Andy from The Andy Griffith Show litter! I am a 2 month old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix (with some other breeds likely in the mix - I will be a fun DNA test candidate!). I currently weigh about 10lbs (I think I may be approximately 55lbs full grown with my parents' gene influence). My foster parents say that I am a smart cookie and very sweet, soaking up cuddles and affection. They also say that I'm quite the looker - not sure what that means, but it must be good! I'm working hard on my crate training and house training (I love food so training me is going to be a breeze). I am quickly healing from a broken foot (my fault, I run like the wind and my foot was somewhere it shouldn't have been at the wrong time). But it doesn't slow me down, even though my foster mom tries to (I'm like hey lady, I don't want to, I've got places to go!). But I get it, it's for my own good. I previously lived with other dogs and currently live with several medium and large dogs - I especially love one of my canine foster sisters who is so gentle with me. I absolutely must share my space with another dog (or two) as I love them so much. Gentle children 6 years of age and older are in my wheelhouse as well! For more information, please contact my talent agent Michelle at michelle.p@poainc.org and complete an adoption application ASAP at www.poainc.org .
