Andre's Story
Andre is an 8-year-old Mini Poodle who lost the only person he ever knew when his owner suddenly passed away. Since then, hes been passed from place to place, never having the chance to truly feel safe.<br/><br/>Andre is looking for someone who understands that healing takes time. His anxiety is severe, so hell need an experienced adopter who can help him build confidence and trust. He is house trained, crate trained, and gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. Even so, we believe hed be happiest as the only pet so he doesnt feel the need to compete for the person he loves most. To help set everyone up for success, Andre will come with a consultation with a professional trainer for his adopter.<br/><br/>On top of all of that, Andre is not doing well in boarding. Boarding is an incredibly stressful place for a dog with severe anxiety, and its heartbreaking knowing hes there 24/7.
