Amy's Story

"Her elderly owner unfortunately passed away in June 2026 and my husband and I have been fostering her until we can find her a forever home. Amy is a chocolate brown chiweenie. She is 14 years old and was born March 13, 2012. She's a small breed and loves to burrow under blankets. She is shy and timid, but warms up to you. She does well in calm, peaceful environments. She prefers to be indoors and in a nice quiet corner and rarely makes noises. . She has been going to Sherwood Veterinary Clinic in Beaumont, TX since she was a puppy and is up to date on heart work meds and vaccinations. She is very healthy and gets around easily. My husband and I have an 11 month old baby and another baby due in October 2026, which is why we cannot keep her. She makes a great companion and is a very quiet and calm dog. She also does well with other dogs of all sizes and cats. She deserves a quiet home and more attention which is why we are sadly needing to rehome her."<br/><br/>If interested, please contact Erin via bretanderin2024@gmail.com or (409) 718-1959
