Looking for a friendly, independent pup who is just as cute as can be? Then...I’m your boy! My name is Amos, the confident Chi who’s looking for a safe home. No bed or couch is too high for me. I’ll find a way to snuggle under the covers or make my way onto your lap when I’m looking for pets from my favorite human.
I’m pretty low energy, but I do my happy dance whenever you offer to take me outside. I like to bask in the warm glow of the sun and explore new surroundings. I may be a small guy, but I dream of exploring those beautiful Colorado mountains!
At my age, I’m looking for a lifelong companion who can keep me safe and give me my space. I’ll thrive in a mature, mellow home with awesome humans who can love me and let me spend my days relaxing in my favorite sun spots! I do live with another dog in my foster home but I am more of a co-exister and don’t meet new dogs super well so I think I’d prefer to be the only dog in my forever home (or a dog who is super easy going and is comfortable with me getting a little growly when sitting on my human’s lap or around food.) I don’t think I’d be super excited about kids in my forever home so adults only please! I’m potty-trained and I enjoy spending time in my crate (how could I not when my favorite blankie is in there?). I haven’t been super interested in toys yet, but I just had a long journey to my foster home. I still have more blossoming to do, after all!
