This friendly and affectionate Miniature Schnauzer is 10 years young and weights 14 lbs. She is great with other dogs and enjoys the company of people. Before Amora is ready for adoption, her veterinarian has recommended one more urine recheck to make sure everything is looking good. Until then, she's looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home in the Chicago area where she can continue to thrive.<br/><br/>Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, Amora is still working on her house-training. She'll do best with someone who understands that routines, consistency, and positive reinforcement take time—but are well worth the effort.<br/><br/>Amora was recently relinquished by her owner, who could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that Amaro has been without veterinary care for a very long time, so she has been getting the care she deserves with our rescue.
