So, ZERO surprise that we had to say yes to saving this very, very good boy when we saw him land in the shelter.

Amigo is going to be some lucky, lucky human's very best friend, and we are already so, so jealous of the family who gets to claim him as their own.

Austin Bulldog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Austin Bulldog Rescue will consider adoptive families in the Austin, surrounding areas, and the northwest San Antonio area. This is simply due to logistics and distance of travel for our volunteers. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the Bulldog’s background and your family’s needs. Every Bulldog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right Bulldog with the right adoptive home, because we want this to be the dog's permanent home. If you are willing to wait for the right rescue to be matched to you, you are an ideal candidate for ABR. As our success rate proves, these precious dogs are well worth the wait. If acquiring a dog is a time sensitive issue for you or your family, rescue may not be for you.
