Amcle's Story

Amcle, a rescue from Korea, is approximately 5 years old and weighs 23 lbs. (Could be older).

Adopted about a year ago into a household with very small and old dogs (10 lbs 10-15 years old dogs), she bit them except for one she formed a bond with.

Initially shy and resistant to human touch upon arriving in the States, she has gotten much better.

Although she remains somewhat nervous and coy in the first weeks or so. Once she feels comfortable, she can be very active and affectionate.

She is currently being fostered in a home with multiple dogs. She really likes a chill bigger dog whom she follows around all the time. She got into trouble with another dog of her size a few times but didn't bother other dogs (small or big). Now she can chill and when away, I separate them just to be safe.

We think it would be best for her to be placed with bigger dogs or as an only dog.

She is not an aggressive dog. When she goes for walks, she rather avoids other dogs and she can also be playful with other dogs too (not encouraged though). She walks well but she can feel somewhere uncertain when we go further from the house and when we get close to the house, she runs and waits at the door. When I give her a bath, she sometimes poops in fear but she is getting better.

Her previous owner has an insurance and we will transfer upon adoption.

All our adoptions come with 2 week trial. If interested, please submit an application for us to review.
