Ambrosia's Story

Ambrosia has spent the last several months doing what great moms do best: raising her puppies. Now that every one of her babies has found a family, its finally her turn.

This beautiful Great Pyrenees is fully vetted, spayed, house trained, and ready to enjoy the good life as someones beloved companion.

While Great Pyrenees are often known as livestock guardian dogs, Ambrosia is not suited for working farm life. She has neither the training nor the instinct for livestock guarding and is happiest living as a cherished house dog.

Ambrosia has wonderful house manners and settles in beautifully. She loves stretching out on a big, comfy dog bed, and if theres an air conditioning vent nearby, youll probably find her snoozing right on top of it. She has an adorable smile thats impossible not to love, and shes always happy to accept a tasty treat.

She does well with other dogs when given slow, proper introductions, which is very typical of the Great Pyrenees breed.

At just under 70 pounds, Ambrosia is still filling out after raising her puppies and will likely reach a healthy weight of 80 to 85 pounds.

If youre looking for a loyal, gentle companion to share your home, your couch, and maybe even your favorite AC vent, Ambrosia is ready to make you smile every single day.

As Ambrosia is a big girl, a family with older children is best!
