AMBER — Your Daily Dose of Happy

NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means she is not at this location, but we do have transport here - more about transport below. Our Rescue is Houston based (https://www.facebook.com/TwilightTailsRescue) and all our fosters and Rescue Ranch are in and around Houston.
__________________________________________________________________________________

Meet Amber!

Amber is a beautiful, multicolored 4-year-old Doberman mix. At just about 55 pounds, she is playful, clever, and full of personality. Her color combination is stunning, with a distinguished black face and back, amber legs and eyebrows, and a pop of white on her chest.

Amber brings fun and joy into every room she enters. She has a lively spirit, a sharp mind, and goofy charm. She thrives with structure, engagement, and a human who enjoys an active routine.

Amber wakes up every day ready for fun and connection, although she does love to sleep a bit late in in the morning! Amber LOVES to play fetch and run around the backyard, in fact she has been known to be so gleeful that she will go all-out with a case of zoomies. She has a favorite squeaky ball that brings out her happy dance moves. On the flip side, Amber loves a good belly rub and absolutely melts with affection.

Amber needs a fenced yard so she can run and stretch her legs daily, with plenty of space to play. She loves to play with other dogs and does best with regular activity and a home that enjoys her playful personality. Not a fan of loud noises, Amber prefers a calm suburban environment.

Amber is friendly and enthusiastic. She loves kids, and a household with older children would be best (so she doesn't accidentally knock a little one over).

Amber is crate trained, house trained, not destructive and great on car rides.
She has excellent behavior at the vet and groomer, especially if showered with a treat or two. She loves rearranging couch cushions into her personal throne. If she is allowed to sleep in bed with you, she lies quietly with you until you get up in the morning.

Smart, eager, and fun to train. Amber will thrive with an adopter who has dog experience, enjoys an active routine, likes training and enrichment, has a fenced yard and lives in a relatively quiet area. She can pull on her leash when startled by loud noises and looks to her owner for calm leadership and confidence building. She is a smart, trusting girl.

Amber is affectionate, loyal, and full of character. She wants a human who enjoys her spark and helps her feel secure and understood.

Amber is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. She is healthy, happy, and ready to join a family who will celebrate her playful nature and help her shine.

If you have a squeaky ball, a fenced yard, and a heart ready for a joyful companion, Amber is ready to meet you!

___________________________________________________________________________________

Details-

Amber would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

NOTE: THIS IS AN "OUT OF TOWN PET" - that means she is not at this location, but we do arrange transport here - more about transport below. Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on-time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!
