Amaro's Story

“Meet Amaro, the handsomest 3 year old boy you’ll ever meet! Amaro LOVES to play and has a curious, intelligent spirit. He is crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained (although he’s a strong boy and does like to be a little “forward” on walks) and seems to know some basic commands. He’s great with kids, although he does like to jump up to give hugs, so he’s better suited to a family with older kids. And did I mention he loves to play?!! Amaro enjoys having a fenced in yard where he can run zoomies and play with another doggie sibling who can match his energy. He and his foster sister love playing chase with each other around the yard and playing tug of war with his rope. He’s done well at doggie daycare with new friends and has not shown any dog-aggression since being in his foster home. Amaro does NOT seem to enjoy his kitty sister (or rather she doesn’t enjoy him lol), so he would probably do better in a cat-free home. He does enjoy attention and would thrive in a home with a fur-sibling or a family who can devote a lot of energy and love to him. He’s not high-energy all the time, and also loves a good nap and snuggle with his people or canine sister. Amaro has such a wonderful, fun-loving personality and is ready for his furever home!” For more information please contact Celina at 615-354-3531.

PS If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application on our website at www.spcatn.org
