There is nothing that will tug at your heartstrings more. than a dog who will stand up to say “hello,” when you call his name! AMADEUS is a 56 pound American bulldog mix with the sweetest face imaginable. He arrived at the shelter on Valentine’s Day in 2023. with some wounds to a leg which staff treated. They said it appeared that he might’ve been attacked by another dog. When you are out wandering around and cannot find your own home, things like that can and do happen! Luckily, he ended up at the shelter where staff was able to take care of him and he is now available for adoption. Don’t let his sad face fool you. He is well taken care of, but he would like to find a home where he has a fenced yard to run around in rather than at the shelter where space is always tight. AMADAUS has not yet been neutered, and that must be done before he can go home with you as your own. So, if you are a serious, adopter, please CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
