Meet Alpine

Did you receive my job application? My name is Alpine and I am a 11 week old, female Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and I am ready to begin my career. Currently, I'm in the midst of mastering the art of housebreaking and crate training, but I'm eager to jump into my true calling: herding! With my breed's reputation for loyalty, intelligence, boundless energy, and a touch of tenacity, I'm ready to put my skills to good use. Sometimes, I might give a gentle reminder with a nip at the ankles to keep everyone moving in the right direction, but it's all in good fun and part of my natural instincts. I get along with other dogs, youngsters of all ages, however I could be nippy to little children. I will need a home with a privacy fenced yard, no invisible fencing. I will make an excellent running buddy and regular exercise to keep me physically and intellectually fit. I wouldn't mind participating in extracurricular activities like agility or obedience training. It's important to remember, an intelligent, energetic dog who is not kept occupied will become bored, and a bored, energetic dog can be destructive. So, if you're ready for a spirited hard worker on your team, who's always up for an adventure, I'm your gal!

**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**

**Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.**

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
