Meet Alice ***URGENT***
***URGENT***
During the state mandated shelter-in-place order BACS has transitioned to virtual, socially-distanced adoptions.
If you have an interest in a particular BACS animal, please email KSwanson@cityofberkeley.info. The first step will be to set up a virtual meeting with their current foster family via phone, zoom, or facetime, to provide you with more detailed information about the animal. Following that, if you feel like it could be a good adoption fit, shelter staff will help coordinate a socially-distanced meeting in person so that you can meet your potential family member up-close and personal. Thank you for your patience during this time. We really appreciate your support!
Alice is an athletic and exuberant dog who will thrive in an active home where she can be the center of attention. She would make a great jogging partner. She is learning impulse control as she can be a little rough at times so she would do best in a home without children. She would love to be the solo dog in the home where she can be doted on like the princess that she is but may be ok in a home with a well-matched male dog as she is choosy about her dog companions. Alice is an adoptable dog who is just succumbing to shelter stress and won’t last very much longer in a shelter environment. She needs to get out in the next week for her own mental health.
