Alice's Story
Meet Alice!

Alice is a happy, fun-loving puppy with a sweet and social personality. This adorable Jack Russell Terrier and Australian Cattle Dog mix is full of playful energy, affection, and personality. She enjoys spending time with people, exploring the world around her, and joining in on whatever fun may be happening.

Alice is a smart girl who is eager to learn. She already has good recall and is working to perfect her house manners. Like any young puppy, she will need continued guidance with house training, crate training, leash walking, socialization, and learning appropriate boundaries. She may also go through the typical chewing, teething, occasional accident, and vocal phases that come with puppyhood and adolescence. Puppy training classes are strongly encouraged to help Alice build confidence, develop good manners, and strengthen the bond with her new family.

Because Alice is a young pup, she will need frequent potty breaks, regular exercise, training, and companionship, she would do best with a family whose schedule allows them to be home more often than not during these important early months. Apartment, condo, or mobile-home living may not be the best fit, as puppies can be vocal while crate training and learning when it is appropriate to express their opinions. Alice may also be too energetic for a senior dog that would prefer a quiet retirement.

Alice is expected to grow into a small to medium-sized adult, although her final size cannot be guaranteed. With patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love, this clever and affectionate girl is sure to become a wonderful lifelong companion.

Alice is ready to bring puppy kisses, playful adventures, and unconditional love to an active family that will cherish her furever!

Alice is:
Current on Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies
Dewormed
Heartworm Tested: Negative
Receiving Heartworm and Flea Prevention
Microchipped
Scheduled for spay surgery at our partner Veterinary office (included in the adoption fee)

ADOPTION FEE: $375

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. We make every effort to evaluate each animal's temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.

While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.

FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
