Ali's Story

Meet Ali!

Ali is a beautiful 6-year-old, 42-pound Blue Merle sweetheart with soulful blue eyes and a gentle spirit that will steal your heart.

This smart girl already knows several commands and is eager to connect with her people. She is a quiet, easygoing companion who enjoys being near her humans more than anything else. Whether she is relaxing beside you on the couch or following you from room to room, Alis favorite place is wherever her person is.

Ali is a low- to medium-energy girl who enjoys sniffing adventures in the yard and occasionally trotting or running alongside her foster siblings. She is not particularly interested in toys, but she will happily accept treats with the gentlest of manners. She takes life at a calm pace and appreciates the simple things—companionship, affection, and feeling safe.

Ali has not been around cats or children, but she has shown no signs of prey drive and approaches new experiences with a sweet, thoughtful nature. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she will do best with a patient family who will continue helping her build confidence at her own pace. She seems to have a slight preference for women, but she has also happily enjoyed affection and couch time with her foster dad.

Ali is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. She has handled everything like the wonderful lady she is—she is a calm passenger in the car, gentle at the vet, house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash.

Ali would be happy as an only dog where she can soak up all the love, or in a home with other dogs as long as they understand she may prefer companionship over constant play. She is not looking for a busy lifestyle or a nonstop adventure buddy—she is looking for a loving family who appreciates a loyal, gentle companion.

If you are searching for a smart, sweet, devoted dog who simply wants to be by your side, Ali may be the perfect match.

ARMA approved adopters please reach out to your volunteer representative.
